Q. Is Adventures In Prophecy a charitable organization of its own? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. Yes. Adventures In Prophecy was established in Florida in 1994 and has recently relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization.

Q. Is Adventures In Prophecy connected with the Jehovah?s Witnesses, Mormons, or Latter-Day Saints in any way? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. NO, not in any way, shape, of form!

Adventures In Prophecy and those associated with Adventures In Prophecy have the fundamental belief that Jesus is, was, and always shall be our God. He IS our life giver! Jehova's Witnesses do not hold that basic belief.

Q. Can I use my own Bible? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. Yes. However, we do recommend a tested translation and suggest that paraphrase (The Living Bible, The Book, etc.) be used only for reading pleasure and not for Bible studies and teachings.

Q. What Bible translation does Adventures In Prophecy use? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. We do not endorse any one single translation. However, the presenters may prefer to stay in the King James family of Bibles, as they seem to have a more familiar and trusted tone with our audiences. However, when we travel to countries like Russia, Romania, Africa, or India, we will use the translation in that language.

Q. I see that Adventures In Prophecy will supply a Bible to me if I need one. What version is that? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. Again, in most cases the Bible will be in the King James translation family of Bibles.

Q. Is there any charge? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. No, but there will be a free will love offering taken at each meeting.

Q. Does the speaker keep the money from the offering? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. No, the speaker does not receive any money from the offering. Each and every dollar given to Adventures In Prophecy goes directly into the ministry and pays for Bibles, study guides, books, and supplies that are offered. The speakers are taken care of in other ways.

Q. Do I need to give an offering to come? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. No, you are most welcome to stay even if you cannot afford to give.

Q. Is each meeting the same, and do I need to attend every one? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. Each meeting is different. The meetings do, however, connect, so you will want to be present for as many in a row as you can. We do not recommend a smorgasbord approach.

Q. Is there a charge for child care? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. No. But if you wish to help with the cost, a gift is appropriate and will be much appreciated. You must be in the building at all times your child is in child care.

Questions About Our Mailings

Q. How can I be removed from your mailing list? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. Adventures in Prophecy does not use a mailing list.

Q. Then how is it that I received this invitation to your meetings by mail? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. The post office offers a service called bulk mail according to ZIP code. As a result, everyone who lives in that ZIP code receives an invitation. We do not know who or where the individual lives in that ZIP. We only know that everyone will receive our mailing.

The post office offers this service to anyone with a bulk mail permit. Unfortunately, there is no way to be excluded from this type of mail. We are sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience because that is not our purpose. We only want to extend to you an invitation to learn more about Jesus.

Q. Doesn't this cost Adventures in Prophecy money to send an invitation to me even if I do not want it? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. Yes, it does, but we feel you are worth it!

Q. Does this cost me in any way? For instance, does it drive the cost of my postage up? Show Answer || Hide Answer

A. No. As a matter of fact, bulk mail is what keeps the cost of your stamps down. The little traffic that stamped mail generates could not possible keep the post office going. It is because of services like bulk mail that keep your price of stamps down. If it were not for bulk mail, the cost of postage could very well be above $2.00 per stamp just for mailing. It is the post office's way of advertising, much like TV. Also, this is another way they help keep our First Amendment rights alive and protected.

We at Adventures in Prophecy hope you understand we mean you no harm. We only want to introduce God to you by the name of Jesus. We pray that He will bless you and yours.

God's blessing to you. Again, we are sorry if this has inconvenienced you in any way.
